What is your personal statement? What do you believe about counseling?

We live in a broken world, and sometimes we find ourselves brokenhearted or broken as well. Thankfully we have a savior who binds up the brokenhearted and heals our wounds (Psalm 147:3).  In 1989, at the age of 13, I  began my journey with Jesus as my Savior and Lord. In 1994, I started working in ministry and have served the Lord in multiple roles both home and abroad.  In 2005 I became a pastor of a local church and served there for over 10 years. As God continued to guide and direct my ministry I discovered my love for counseling, and in 2015 I transitioned to counseling fulltime.  I believe counseling helps to find the hope that is sometimes dimmed by the brokenness we experience; and that hope leads to the future and healing God desires.
